Inspired by our new issue, FUEL, here is a recipe for the smoothie that keeps me going.
Born out of my coffee obsession and the need to get extra protein in after a workout. This sweet, creamy smoothie always hits the spot! Substitute 2 dates for the honey to make it vegan. Here is what you will need...
1 cup oat milk
1 shot espresso (a little bit of cold brew coffee works too)
1 scoop protein powder (I use Trader Joe's pea protein powder)
1 frozen banana + 2 tbsp. peanut butter (for a thicker smoothie, add a couple of ice cubes)
2 tsp. honey
Add ingredients to blender in the same order as listed, and blend. Enjoy!
